Weddings and Partnerships

happy wedding
How many times have you attended a wedding where it appeared the officiant had never even met the couple, let alone know anything about them? There is nothing wrong with a quick and impersonal ceremony; it gets the job done. However, if you are drawn to seek out "something different", getting married by a Celebrant might be the right choice for you.

In my philosophy, a wedding ought to be undertaken with great consciousness and celebrated with deep joy. For a variety of reasons, perhaps a legal wedding isn't in the cards for you, but if you would like to recognize and validate your partnership, you also deserve the same consideration and recognition of your conscious choices.

I take the time to get to know you both as individuals and as a couple in order to craft the best possible ceremony for you. We will meet several times over the course of planning out your ceremony. I will ask you challenging questions to stimulate you to think about your relationship and how you would like to bring that into the circle of your family and your friends.

Do you want to tell the story of how you fell in love? A Celebrant ceremony specializes in story telling. If you are stumped for a reading or a meaningful ritual, I have suggestions. If you have it all figured out and just need some organization, I can do that too. If you want to incorporate aspects from different cultural, national, or religious traditions, together we can build a respectful ceremony that honors both tradition and the blending of your lives.

I am a minister of the Universal Life Church and a Life Cycle Celebrant with a certificate in Weddings.
